Happy New Year! Many thanks for all your festive greetings and kind thoughts. I wish you all a year of good health and as much happiness as possible.
I hate January. The start of the year always makes me feel anxious and a bit afraid, but I’m not going to dwell on it here and now. I’m trying to cultivate a more positive me. Christmas was hectic and had its ups and downs (including an embarrassing mishap with a frozen turkey on public transport) and I’m still a bit knackered to be honest. I’ve stuffed the last of the Christmas cake and festive chocs down my neck and I’m about to busy myself by stripping the tree and putting the decorations away, thus bringing Yule to a formal conclusion. And that’s it for now. I just wanted to pop in and make my mark on a new page so to speak. I’ll be back!
